had a very-enjoyable stay, the Hotel is classy with excellent service and Interior
the room was big and well furnished in Modern style
Very clean and Sterile
Food and Breakfast was fabulous although at Breakfast we had the feeling
that half of Merida was eating here and it was mega loud and Hectic.
The Pool was nice with service from the Bar however they do not have a price-list
for the drinks and we didn't want to ask the price of every drink individually before we decided what to drink so we didn't!!
The Hotel is situated above a Mall where souvenirs and bars and restaurants are situated ...even for drinks after the Hotel Bar is closed.
Night-time is Airport similar security control to enter the Hotel Area.
"Very well located and just half a block from Paseo Montejo the main street in Merida a 400 year old city"
The room sice just great and clean, i was on the 5th floor with pool view and a very quite room, the staff all very nice, we went to a weeding so many of us could meet at the lobby bar or restauran in lobby and had a wonderfull stay, to be located neer the Paseo Montejo is very important since you can just walk out and you are there, this street is full of very old houses some are museums, offices and is a must if you travel to Merida
We recently returned from one incredible week in Merida during which we stayed at this lovely property. From the moment we arrived, we were constantly warmly greeted and the staff never failed to assist us with anything that we needed to make our stay perfect. We opted to book our room on the 5th floor Club level which provided a complimentary breakfast , as well as snacks and drinks during the day, plus a nice selection of appetizers/canapes, small desserts, as well as drinks in the evenings. It was a nice place to unwind and relax after long and sometimes very hot/humid days of touring the beautiful city. The room was not large, but certainly spacious enough to be comfy. Nice bathroom with updated features such as a rain head shower.(no tub) All of the rooms feature a small walkout French type balcony for fresh air with a sliding door. We did not eat in the actual restaurants but the buffets were quite vast and looked very good. There were enough surrounding wonderful restaurants, within walking distance, or a short taxi ride that we ventured out for the variety. The location is excellent as it is just steps away from the Paseo de Montejo avenue, and approximately a fifteen minute drive from the downtown historical area. We were celebrating an anniversary and were surprised one evening when we returned to our room and there was a platter of chocolate dipped strawberries waiting for us ( thank you! ) There is a inside mall on the lower level which contained many nice shops for souvenirs, clothing, etc. There was a large pool, which we did not utilize during our stay but it did look wonderful to cool off in! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an upscale experience with awesome service and a great central location.
great location but the hotel need improvement looks very old, service is good and the rooms are clean but the areas have the aged feeling, we had some breakfast and the food is good, extraordinary location near paseo montejo
Spacious room with balcony and good sized bathroom.Very helpful staff.Great concierge service.Fantastic huge variety breakfast tho not incl in room rate.Great location-tho it's not near main sq it's not that far away and this well-regarded hotel is just round the corner from the fanciest historical street in town, Avenida Montejo.Only problem especially in ground floor mall leading up to hotel was whiff of drains but no smell in room and tour guide said this was a city-wide problem.I plan to come back again.
The majestic Fiesta Americana Mérida rises up at the intersection of Mérida's two most important avenues: Colon and Paseo Montejo, with Porfirian-style architecture that retains an exquisite elegance, together with modernity and technology; elements that ensure a pleasurable stay.An icon of the White City, a meeting point of Merida's society and an attractive destination for vacation and business travelers alike, without a doubt one of the best hotels in Merida, Mexico.
By day or night, the hotel is breathtaking and entering, delights the eye with its elegant lobby decorated with mosaics, a central fountain and armchairs all around inviting to enjoy the elegant atmosphere. The Fiesta Americana Mérida has an adjacent shopping mall, a business center and the South East Industries Club (Club de Industriales del Sureste) which operates through membership.
Its convenient location allows you to reach the airport in 25 minutes and seven minutes from downtown, where you can learn the colonial heritage of the city, listen the Yucatecan trova notes and sample the typical dishes.
