Playa Icacos is one of the most famous and crowded beaches in the port of Acapulco. It is located northeast of the bay of Acapulco within a tourist area called Acapulco Dorado. It runs almost parallel to Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán, from the Hotel El Presidente building to the Eighth Naval Region, crossing the Club Deportivo, Costa Azul and Icacos subdivisions of the city. It is approximately 2,060 meters long and is the longest beach in the Bay of Acapulco.
