This is definitely a great hotel. Every single employee is extremely kind and helpful, it is definitely a place to come back. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the food from Los Almendros is among the best to try Yucatán cuisine. I love this place.
"Great location, clean and good service"
This hotel is very well located in Paseo Montejo. Less than 30 minute walk into the centre of town. Many good restaurants nearby. Good service, clean and good size pool for families. Frequent taxi services and car rentals in the shopping centre below the hotel. Great breakfast buffet.
"Great hotel if you get a bargain rate"
We love the Fiesta Americana but would never pay the rack rate. Get online and find a bargain. We paid $80 through Booking [dot] com. We would definitely stay there again for that rate. The location is great and the attached shopping center has some great bargains. We did not eat here, too many far better options in Merida.
"Excellent venue for business and pleasure."
The location is excellent, the facilities are top notch and the staff is wonderful. We only had an issue at the restaurant where we immediately went for lunch on our arrival as there was a World Cup game ready to start and there was an announcement at the lobby. So we walk in to the restaurant and find that the waiters were in a meeting. I asked to the Capitan if we could have a seat but he said “Sorry we are in a meeting, please go to the Lobby Bar”
I did not argued at all as the game was already on, but, why does the Hotel advertise a service that the employees do not honor?
"Need better service"
This hotel was not new to me, but this time we had lousy room service. When I got to hotel the sheets were dirty when I was about to go to sleep. I had to call for them to come change them. Secondly, I had to call daily for them to bring me towels because they wouldn't leave any. And finally, I had to call for toilet paper and soap because they never left any. Other than that it was friendly.
The majestic Fiesta Americana Mérida rises up at the intersection of Mérida's two most important avenues: Colon and Paseo Montejo, with Porfirian-style architecture that retains an exquisite elegance, together with modernity and technology; elements that ensure a pleasurable stay.An icon of the White City, a meeting point of Merida's society and an attractive destination for vacation and business travelers alike, without a doubt one of the best hotels in Merida, Mexico.
By day or night, the hotel is breathtaking and entering, delights the eye with its elegant lobby decorated with mosaics, a central fountain and armchairs all around inviting to enjoy the elegant atmosphere. The Fiesta Americana Mérida has an adjacent shopping mall, a business center and the South East Industries Club (Club de Industriales del Sureste) which operates through membership.
Its convenient location allows you to reach the airport in 25 minutes and seven minutes from downtown, where you can learn the colonial heritage of the city, listen the Yucatecan trova notes and sample the typical dishes.
