The location is excellent, the facilities are top notch and the staff is wonderful. We only had an issue at the restaurant where we immediately went for lunch on our arrival as there was a World Cup game ready to start and there was an announcement at the lobby. So we walk in to the restaurant and find that the waiters were in a meeting. I asked to the Capitan if we could have a seat but he said “Sorry we are in a meeting, please go to the Lobby Bar”
I did not argued at all as the game was already on, but, why does the Hotel advertise a service that the employees do not honor?
"Need better service"
This hotel was not new to me, but this time we had lousy room service. When I got to hotel the sheets were dirty when I was about to go to sleep. I had to call for them to come change them. Secondly, I had to call daily for them to bring me towels because they wouldn't leave any. And finally, I had to call for toilet paper and soap because they never left any. Other than that it was friendly.

Unfortunately, I stayed one night and one day only in this beautiful hotel with a French colonial architectural touch with stone quarries (mosaics). ;)
The first impression is WOW. There is a huge stained glass window that illuminates and decorates the ceiling with warm, ocher colors that inspire to the emotional being in a high visual rejoicing.
Fiesta Americana Mérida it is synonym of culture, art, gastronomy and tradition without equal. <3

Mr. Del Rio at Telephone Reservations: Please, an extended congratulation to this personage who helped me to reserve a single night in Fiesta Americana Merida, due to HIS agility, dexterity and attention to detail that he directed to me during all the moment, and for the total disposition. A virtue of this great gentleman is HIS patience, and tone of voice led me to enjoy even before checking in.
I was not able to enjoy the SPA or the GYM.
Neverthless I think they are just as beautiful as the whole hotel facility.

"10 days in Merida"
In spite of minor mishaps, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The personnel was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Food was excellent. All in all, high quality services. I would recommend a more frequent maintenance of the lifts. Please do the utmost to control children (twice we were woke up in the middle of the night by false fire alarms caused by evil children)

I stayed here for a couple of work trips. The hotel is nice and close to a lot of restaurants. It is also in a mall so there are a couple of restaurants in the lobby as well. Very big rooms, would stay there again
